while this is nice, be certain that it will be nice to you. The skin does protect the camera, but it can also damage it. I got this skin because before I used to carry my camera in my pocket, and it would scratch against keys or my cell phone. This time I hoped I will avoid the scratches. I carried the camera with the skin around it in my pocket. It was awesome. Less dust was falling on the viewfinder. However, over time dust and specs got between the skin and the camera. Once specs got in, they stayed there and scratched against the camera during normal use. I found that out after about a couple of weeks of use, when I removed the skin. The skin also made it hard to remove the camera out of my pocket, because it snags against the fabric of the pants. Pros: camera is unlikely to fall out. Cons: you have to struggle to get the camera with the skin out of your pocket. Finally, I figured if my camera is getting scratched anyway, I better remove the skin and enjoy the camera's brightly-shining exterior as well as quick snag-free removal from pocket. And so I did. Also I now carry it in the pocket that doesn't have keys or cell phones. I do, however, recommend investing into a screen protector, a clear adhesive screen that protects the LCD display. I could live with scratches on camera body, but it's annoying to have scratch marks on display. My screen protector got marks after a couple of months of use, but the screen is still fine.
